Learn the latest on what is happening to understand and address 6PPD-quinone in Oregon.

Lacamas, Round, and Fallen Leaf Lakes are located in Clark County in southwest Washington State. Each lake has experienced algae blooms in recent years, with the blooms of most concern being harmful algal blooms (HABs). Dr. Krall will describe results from a year-long water quality study of the lakes and their inflows, focused on parameters relevant to understanding HABs. He will also discuss development of hydrologic and nutrient budgets, and analysis of lake management alternatives.

Dr. Jacob Krall is a Registered Professional Engineer (Civil) in Oregon and California with over 11 years of consulting experience. Dr. Krall has broad experience in water resources engineering, including source water protection, numerical modeling (hydrodynamic, sediment transport and water quality), and lake management. His academic background combines hydrology, water resources engineering and sediment transport expertise.
